The hall can be booked for one off hire or regular use. Current use includes dance and exercise classes, Hazelwood Bowls Club, Derby Guild of Weavers. The hall is ideal for parties and weddings and has full kitchen facilities.

The Derbyshire Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers

We are a thriving group who meet at the Memorial Hall, Hazelwood to pursue the traditional crafts of weaving, spinning, dyeing and felting. During the year we have a range of activities from Spin-Ins where members pursue their own projects, workshops by members and outside speakers, sales of materials and equipment and an annual outing to a venue of interest. We also demonstrate at a variety of venues throughout the year to promote our crafts and the Guild. We are affiliated to the Association of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers and have access to events and meetings organised by them. We are always pleased to welcome new members or visitors. Our group meets on the second Saturday of each month between 10 am and 4 pm.
